Solar Powered Navigation Light (SPNL) Systems
Naps solar powered navigation light (SPNL) systems are made to provide safe, independently powered flashing light systems for harbours, navigation channels, beacons and buoys.
We have designed standard systems for fixed installation with one or two solar modules. Multiple solar modules are necessary for free floating buoys to ensure that at least one module is facing the sun at all times.
The main components of the system are an ultra-low consumption LED navigation lantern, a solar array, a Smart Flasher 6-28 system controller and a sealed battery. During day-time, the solar array charges the battery via the controller and during night-time the system controller automatically activates the navigation lantern and controls its flashing.
Key features of SPNL systems:
- Easy installation
- Assured operation
- Economical thanks to maintenance free operation
- Long lifetime, designed to withstand the harshest environments
- Compact system design
- Low self-consumption
