Solar Module Guarantees

Like all responsible solar module manufacturers, Naps gives two types of guarantee (or warranty) for its modules. The following is just a brief description of our module guarantee for standard products. For full details, please download for our official solar module guarantee document.

The guarantee against defective workmanship or materials covers failures or problems in the first year of operation. In this case, the remedy is replacement or repair of a defective product.

There is also a guarantee that the peak Watts of a module will not reduce by more than a stated percentage over a certain number of years (limited power guarantee).

Naps warrants its modules to produce no less than 90% of their initial minimum stated power under Standard Test Conditions for a period of 10 years from the date of original purchase, and also to produce no less than 80% of their initial minimum stated power under Standard Test Conditions for a period of 25 years from the date of original purchase. In this case, the remedy may be replacement of one or more modules to restore the peak Watts of an installation but not necessarily using the same type of module. Since the limited power guarantee covers such a long time period (10-25 years), it is quite likely that the exact type of module would not be available later on in the power guarantee period.
