Satellite Stations

A rebroadcasting system sends the television programmes to an area in a remote community. Such system consists of satellite channel receiver and transmitter and the receiving end must be equipped with a standard television. Television can be used up to a range of 7 km from the station in good terrain conditions. In this way, the village can be informed of national affairs and obtain education and recreation materials, and this process can be supported also through the use of VHS cassettes.
