Naps supplies 58 standard house roof solar electricity systems to the Primrose Hill Solar Village Project in Huddersfield, UK

58 older houses and bungalows have been equipped with 1 kWp Naps NSR grid-connected solar electricity systems for roofs as part of Kirklees Metropolitan Council's Sun Cities project. These systems were installed during 2005 by our installation partners Filsol. The systems use Naps standard NSR mountings on both slate and tile roofs. Each house has 10 times NR100G24 modules and one SWR850 inverter. Most of the houses also have had solar thermal collectors fitted at the same time.

This is the first part of an exciting project to create a 'solar village' in the Primrose Hill area. Naps has also designed and supplied materials for 31 1kWp roof-integrated solar electricity systems for houses being built in late 2005 and early 2006, also a large 24kWp roof solar electricity system for a new multiple occupancy building being built at the same time.
