Naps Systems has sold more than 1M EUR worth of custom-designed solar
electricity systems to power telecommunications relay stations in North Africa.
The demand
for powering telecommunications links located in all parts of Africa, especially
the more isolated ones, is booming. Naps Systems is a market leader in off-grid
solar electricity systems for the telecommunications industry, and supplies
customized solutions to many parts of Africa, particularly to North Africa.
“The
operational expenditure (OPEX) of our independent solar power systems is very
low, which gives our telecommunications customers a competitive advantage. In
addition, the optimisation and customisation of our systems provide the best
possible return on investment together with high reliability” says Jari
Enontekio, Sales Director
at Naps Systems.
North
Africa is one of the regions where Naps Systems has supplied solar electricity
power systems for many different applications, mainly for telecommunications but
also for cathodic protection and building-integrated grid-connected projects,
such as the spectacular systems installed at Moroccan airports which include
special solar modules with a Moorish design.
Naps
Systems is a specialist in customized and innovative solar electricity solutions,
based on state-of-the-art photovoltaic technology. The company has delivered
more than 250,000 solar systems to over 120 countries worldwide since 1981. Naps
Systems solutions cover a very wide range of applications: from
telecommunications, cathodic protection for oil and gas pipelines, and
solar-powered obstruction light systems to rural electrification and
building-integrated photovoltaics for public buildings and housing.
