M.Sc. Mikko Juntunen has been appointed CTO of Naps Systems

The Management Team of Naps Systems Oy has been complemented by appointment of Mr. Mikko JUNTUNEN, M.Sc. (Tech), as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) as of April 6th 2009.

Mikko is 42 years old and holds a degree in Technical Physics from the Helsinki University of Technology. His work history encompasses several years in Finnish cooperation with international science centers (CERN, INFN etc), four years with Nokia Mobile Phones in various product development responsibilities, a year working for the Helsinki region Centre of Expertise program and most recently seven years with Detection Technology Inc (www.deetee.com) as key account manager, product line manager, vice president (product lines and R&D), senior business support manager and technology director.

He has written several articles and given public presentations in the fields of particle physics and detection technologies. He is a holder of two issued patents and several patent applications.

Mikko’s very strong background in physics, specifically semiconductors, complemented with versatile international business responsibilities further enhances Naps Systems’ position as a leading developer of high performing solar electricity systems.
